About Us
The Oklahoma Outreach Foundation was established in 2000 as a non-profit organization supporting treatment and recovery for Oklahoma teens experiencing chemical dependency on alcohol and other drugs. Our mission is to provide long-term recovery solutions for adolescents and their families. We provide scholarships to families who cannot otherwise afford treatment for their adolescent. This includes both inpatient and outpatient programs.
The Foundation opened Oklahoma Outreach Sober School in
2006. This school, the first of its kind
in Oklahoma was started as a continuum of care for teens who have attended
treatment for addictions and who have a true desire to actively commit to a
sober lifestyle. Our unique student
body, of at most 15 students, does more than study for their classes; they also
learn to make choices to foster their efforts in recovery and develop a strong
sense of their own spirituality.
Surrounded by peers and staff who support them, the students are able to
complete their educational goals and become viable members of the community.
